Alexandria - An extension has been granted to some farmers and ranchers in 55 Louisiana Parishes who were attempting to meet the September 16, buy-in deadline for certain disaster assistance programs due to production and economic losses, but were unable to do so because of hurricane-related temporary Farm Service Agency (FSA) Office closures.
