Domestic Violence Awareness Month recognized

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Evangeline Parish mayors signed a proclamation declaring their dedication to ending violence against women and children. They encourage their communties to stand together against violence and help put an end to the suffering of abused women and children.
