Tournoi youth royalty recently selected
The annual Children’s Tournoi Pageant was held Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the Northside Civic Center. Kings and queens, along with the runners-up, were selected in the following 16 categories:
Wee Baby Miss Tournoi: Ava Arnaud, the six-month-old daughter of Scott and Jamie Arnaud of Basile, was crowned Wee Baby Miss Tournoi. The queen’s court was rounded out by Myka Grace Fontenot, the four-month-old daughter of Michael and Cristy Fontenot of Eunice, first runner-up; Amelia Leigh Fontenot, the five-and-a-half-month-old daughter of Rebecca Ardoin and Lance Fontenot of Ville Platte, second runner-up; and Lillian Elizabeth Muir, the five-month-old daughter of Justin and Mary Mire of Rayne. Myka Fontenot also was named most photogenic.
Wee Baby Tournoi Knight: The title of Wee Baby Tournoi Knight was presented to Tanner Lanthier, the six-month-old son of Cassie Lanthier of Eunice.
Baby Tournoi Queen: Caroline Garrett, the nine-month-old daughter of Jason and Adrienne Garrett of Ville Platte, was named Baby Tournoi Queen. Lainey Brooke Campbell, the 12-month-old daughter of Badge and Simone Campbell of Ville Platte, was named first runner-up; Demi Ray Tate, the seven-month-old daughter of Kylie Brignac and Casey Tate of Ville Platte, was named second runner-up; and Kayden Elyse Vidrine, the 11-month-old daughter of Joey and Tiffany Vidrine of Eunice, was named third runner-up. Chloe Brook Childers, the nine-month-old daughter of Matthew and Brook Childers of Washington, was named most photogenic.
Baby Tournoi Knight: The title of Baby Tournoi Knight was presented to Hudson Ashford, the 10-month-old son of Kevin and Tiffany Ashford of Mamou. First runner-up to the king was Logan Kade Guillory, the seven-month-old son of Justin and Erica Guillory of Pine Prairie. Second runner-up was Derrick James Sonnier, the nine-and-a-half-month-old son of Candace Simon and Brandon Sonnier of Church Point. Sonnier also was named most photogenic.
Tiny Toddler Tournoi Queen: Bailey Elise Marcantel, the 22-month-old daughter of Emily Arceneaux and Kyle Marcantel of Ville Platte, was chosen Tiny Toddler Tournoi Queen. Her court consisted of Tatum Elizabeth Dore’, the 18-month-old daughter of Derek and Susan Dore’ of St. Martinville, first runner-up; Gabrielle Elizabeth Werner, the 14-month-old daughter of Eric and Tiffany Werner of Ville Platte, second runner-up; and Jillian Fontenot, the 18-month-old daughter of Chris and Lori Fontenot of Arnaudville, third runner-up. Dore’ also was named most photogenic.
Tiny Toddler Tournoi Knight: The title of Tiny Toddler Tournoi Knight went to Matthew Barron, the 21-month-old son of Juan and Penny Barron of Ville Platte. Branson Adam Johnson, the 23-and-a-half-month-old son of Benjamin and Vallery Johnson of Ville Platte, was named first runner-up. Barron also was named most photogenic.
Toddler Tournoi Queen: Brianna Taylor, the two-year-old daughter of Leslie Guillory and Alex Taylor of Washington, was chosen Tiny Toddler Tournoi Queen. Her court consisted of Aubrey Ella Vidrine, the two-year-old daughter of Jamie and Annie Vidrine of Ville Platte, first runner-up; Lily Marie Pickett, the two-year-old daughter of Matthew and Sharon Pickett of Washington, second runner-up; and Caroline Alyse Blood, the two-year-old daughter of Joe and Julie Blood of St. Landry, third runner-up. Pickett also was named most photogenic.
Toddler Tournoi Knight: Nicholas Brown, the two-and-a-half-year-old son of Shane and Jada Brown of Ville Platte, was chosen Toddler Tournoi Knight.
Tee Nincy Tournoi Queen: The Tee Nincy Tournoi Queen crown was awarded to Josi Deshotel, the three-year-old daughter of Fred and Rachel Deshotel of Vidrine. Her court was rounded out by first runner-up Halle Lynn Lafleur, the three-year-old daughter of Melony Delahoussaye and Travis Lafleur of Ville Platte; second runner-up Allison Thibodeaux, the three-year-old daughter of Richie and Laurie Thibodeaux of Basile; and third runner-up Chloe Brook Bullock, the three-year-old daughter of Seth Bullock of Eunice. Thibodeaux also was named most photogenic.
Tee Nincy Tournoi Knight: Holden Ashford, the three-year-old son of Kevin and Tiffany Ashford of Mamou, was named Tee Nincy Tournoi Knight.
Tee Tiny Tournoi Queen: The Tee Tiny Tournoi Queen title was presented to Kadence Paige Faulk, the four-year-old daughter of Paul and Kay Faulk of Eunice. Hannah Denise Daigle, the four-year-old daughter of Dustin and Danielle Daigle of Kinder, was named first runner-up; Chyanne Alysse LeBleu, the four-year-old daughter of Kevin and Racheal LeBleau of Ville Platte, was named second runner-up; and Sarah Robinson, the four-year-old daughter of Jessica and Tony Guillory of Elton, was named third runner-up. LeBleu also was named most photogenic.
Tiny Tournoi Queen: The Tiny Tournoi Queen title was awarded to Morgan Melissa Louviere, the five-year-old daughter of Chris and Monique Louviere of Opelousas. Runners-up to the tiny queen were: Mallory Shay Colligan, the five-year-old daughter of Eric and Jessica Colligan of Ville Platte, first runner-up; and Jillian Elizabeth Mayeaux, the five-year-old daughter of Kasom and Amanda Mayeaux of Plaucheville, second runner-up. Colligan also was named most photogenic.
Tiny Tournoi Knight: The Tiny Tournoi Knight title went to Kale Jacob Vidrine, the five-year-old son of Chad and Alaina Vidrine of Ville Platte.
Petite Tournoi Queen: Shelbi Lynn Guidry, the seven-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marty Guidry of St. Martinville, was named Petite Tournoi Queen. Runners-up to the new queen were first runner-up Reagan Shea Ledoux, the seven-year-old daughter of Kyle and Shelly Ledoux of Basile; second runner-up Destiny Nicole McLin, the seven-year-old daughter of Carl and Debra McLin of Denham Springs; and third runner-up Haley Brooke Daigle, the seven-year-old daughter of Dustin and Danielle Daigle of Kinder. Shelbi Delahoussaye, the six-year-old daughter of Jody Delahoussaye and Rhonda Delahoussaye of Ville Platte, was named most photogenic.
Little Tournoi Queen: Alaina Nichole Ardoin, the nine-year-old daughter of Jamie and Rusty Ardoin of Washington, was crowned Little Miss Tournoi Queen. Runners-up to the queen were: Joanie Dupre, the eight-year-old daughter of Scott and Amy Dupre of Ville Platte, first runner-up; Kimberly Paige Cachin, the nine-year-old daughter of Kevin and Jessica Cachin of Basile, second runner-up; and Darrelyn Nicole Lachney, the eight-year-old daughter of Larry and Sherron Lachney of Ville Platte, third runner-up. Cachin also was named most photogenic.
Deb Tournoi Queen: The title of Deb Tournoi Queen went to Sarah Elizabeth Saunier, the 11-year-old daughter of Leonard and Neely Saunier of Delcambre. The deb queen’s court was rounded out by first runner-up Ainsley McDaniel, the 11-year-old daughter of Scott and Denise McDaniel of Ville Platte; second runner-up Abrianna C. Little, the 10-year-old daughter of Charles and Patricia Little of Elmer; and third runner-up Erin Sylvester, the 11-year-old daughter of Ted and Paula Sylvester of Whiteville. Little also was named most photogenic.
Judges for the pageant were Kathy, Amy and Ashley Johnson.
