Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office arrests 17

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 17 bookings in the parish jail from October 1, through October 7.

Arrested were the following:

•Donald Serie Jr., 29, 304 East St., Mamou, was charged October 1, with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Serie was released on a $250 bond.

•Steven Dwight Savoy, 20, 2027 Fuselier St., Reddell, was charged October 1, with simple burglary and theft over $500. Savoy was released on a $15,000 bond.

•Ronald Joseph Courville Jr., 20, 430 N. 11th St., Eunice, was charged October 1, with simple burglary and theft over $500. Bond was set at $15,000.

•Dakota Allen Ball, 18, 1943 Wilba Vizinat Loop, Eunice, was charged October 1, with simple burglary and theft over $500. Ball was released on a $15,000 bond.

•Augustus Kinta Ceasar, 31, 2455 Smith St., Basile, was charged October 1, with domestic abuse battery. Bond was set at $10,000.

•Kajikianoki Mika Deville, 36, 3225 Victoria Drive, Apt. 1014, Baton Rouge, was charged October 1, with second-degree kidnapping, armed robbery and attempted second-degree murder. Bond was set at $500,000.

•Dequincy Malcolm Record, 22, 816 Fourth St., Mamou, was charged October 2, with disturbing the peace by loud music and aggravated flight from an officer. Bond was set at $20,000.

•James Edward Catorie, 30, 1394 Wilson Campbell Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 4, with simple battery. Catorie was released on a $1,000 bond.

•Gilbert Scott Lafleur, 44, 186 Shuff Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 5, with simple battery and disturbing the peace. Lafleur was released on a $1,500 bond.

•David Shawn Soileau, 42, 266 Howard Road, Opelousas, was charged October 6, with criminal damage to coin operated device (two counts) and theft (two counts). Soileau was released on a $10,000 bond.

•Steven Keith LeJeune, 21, 1121 Green Oaks Loop, Eunice, was charged October 6, with aggravated flight, reckless operation and disobeying stop sign (three counts). LeJeune was released on a $15,000 bond.

•Polly Ann Fontenot, 44, 4217 Bond Road, Mamou, was charged October 6, with theft of pills (over $300). Fontenot was released on a $10,000 bond.

•Jermaine Travis Robinson, 25, 126 Main St., Lawtell, was charged October 6, with aggravated assault. Bond was set at $10,000.

•Jermaine Wayne Williams, 33, 249 Church St., Ville Platte, was charged October 6, with disturbing the peace by loud music and aggravated flight from an officer. Williams was released on a $15,000 bond.

•Ronald Lee Hebert, 42, 310 South St., Mamou, was charged October 7, with domestic abuse battery and resisting an officer. No bond information was available at press time.

•Chad Dale Freeman, 32, 1704 16th St., Lake Charles, was charged October 7, with disturbing the peace (language), assault with a dangerous weapon, resisting by flight, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal damage to property. Bond was set at $10,000.

•Steven Dwight Savoy, 20, 2027 Fuselier St., Reddell, was charged with criminal damage to property. Savoy was released on a $3,500 bond.
