State Police arrest six

Louisiana State Police, Troop I, reported six arrests recently in Evangeline Parish.

The arrests were recorded at the Evangeline Parish Jail as follows:

•Catlin Green, 20, 1032 Turkey Hollow Road, Turkey Creek, was charged October 4, with DWI (first offense), no license plate light and modified exhaust. Green was released on a $1,301.50 bond.

•Joseph Pitre, 33, 4842 Cazan Lake Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 5, with DWI (second offense). Pitre was released on a $1,061.50 bond.

•Janice Thibodeaux, 43, 270 Sonnier Road, Bunkie, was charged October 5, with DWI (second offense), no signal light, stop sign violation and no driver’s license. Thibodeaux was released on a $1,946.50.

•Merril Fontenot, 41, 3799 Opelousas Road, Ville Platte, was charged DWI (first offense), improper lane usage and open container. Fontenot was released on a $1,191.50 bond.

•Mary Soileau DeJean, 49, Ville Platte, was charged October 5, with DWI (third offense), careless operation and driving under suspension. DeJean was released on a $5,634 bond.

•Carlos Demarr Dennis, 32, 1102 Prather St., Oakdale, was charged October 6, with DWI (first offense), failure to obey stop sign, flight from an officer and careless operation. Dennis was released on a $1,699 bond.
