VPPD lists nine arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported nine arrests between September 3, and October 6.

Arrested were the following:

•Jacolby Manley, 27, 1519 W. Carl St., Ville Platte, was charged October 6, with criminal damage to property, disturbing the peace by intoxication and public intimidation by Officer Allen James. At press time, Manley remained incarcerated.

•Daniel Mayeaux, 24, 1709 Nursery Road, Washington, was charged September 3, with DWI (first offense) and careless operation with an accident by Officer Nathaniel Savoy. Mayeaux was released on a $1,250 bond.

•Kevin John Ortego, 35, 1047 Sandtrap Road, Ville Platte, was charged September 3, with DWI (second offense) by Officer Nathaniel Savoy. Ortego was released on a $1,000 bond.

•Jaonnie Arvie, 20, 6582 Pine Point Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 1, with speeding and resisting an officer by Officer Tyler Tate. Arvie was released on a $950 bond.

•Jacolby Manley, 27, 1516 Carl St., Ville Platte, was charged October 4, with public intoxication and resisting arrest by Officer Nathaniel Savoy. Manley was released on a $950 bond.

•Cheryl Leblanc, 45, 110 E. Jackson, Ville Platte, was charged October 4, with domestic abuse by Officer Nathaniel Savoy. No bond information was available at press time.

•Aldon Jackson, 37, 110 E. Jackson, Ville Platte, was charged October 4, with domestic abuse by Officer Nathaniel Savoy. No bond information was available at press time.

•Charles Antoine, 45, 712 W. Beech St., Ville Platte, was charged October 3, with public intoxication by Officer Brent Zackery. Antoine was released on a $200 bond.

•Troy Smith, 41, 212 E. Beech St., Ville Platte, was charged October 5, with telephone harassment by Officer Nathaniel Savoy. Smith was released on a $200 bond.
