16th Annual Smoked Meat youth royalty announced

The 2008 Viande Boucanée youth royalty was crowned Thursday evening, June 26, 2008, at the Civic Center.

The kings and queens and their courts were announced as follows:

Youngest Contestant:
Addison Blair Ortego, the two-and-a-half-month-old daughter of Ramsey Barzare and Ski Ortego.

Baby Miss:
Queen - Gabrielle Elizabeth Werner, the 11-month-old daughter of Eric and Tiffany Werner of Ville Platte.
First runner-up - Emily Lynn Soileau, the six-month-old daughter of Adam and Becky Soileau of Washington.
Second runner-up - Kamryn Denee' Fontenot, the nine-month-old daughter of Joey and Ashley Fontenot of Mamou.
Third runner-up - Abbie Claire Perrodin, the five-month-old daughter of Quentin and Stephanie Perrodin of Ville Platte.

Baby Master:
King - Gunner Landreneau, the seven-month-old son of Robby and Liz Landreneau of Ville Platte.
First runner-up - Landon Guillory, the two-and-a-half-month-old son of Ryan and Bridget Guillory of Ville Platte.

Toddler Miss:
Queen - Katherine Fontenot, the 18-month-old daughter of Wendel and Dana Fontenot of Ville Platte.
First runner-up - Lillian Brignac, the 13-month-old daughter of Chris and Natalie Brignac of Ville Platte.
Second runner-up - Ava Jade Landreneau, the 17-month-old daughter of Andre and Kelly Landreneau of Mamou.
Third runner-up - Caitlyn Alyse Vidrine, the 21-month-old daughter of Bryan and Kathy Vidrine of Ville Platte.
Fourth runner-up - Addison Marie Soileau, the 14-month-old daughter of Mikey and Heidi Soileau of Ville Platte.
