CROWLEY – Qualifying for the October 4 election ended Friday, July 11 at 5 p.m.

Those who have qualified for races in Acadia Parish include:

For the District Judge of the 15th judicial District Court, Elec. Sec. 4, Div. F, Glenn Everett of Crowley has qualified.

District Judge John Trahan will run for District Judge of the 15th Judicial District Court, Elec. Sec. 4, Div. A. Trahan will be running as the incumbent.

For the District Judge position for 15th Judicial Court, Elec. Sec.4, Div. J, Kristian D. Earle, of Iota, has qualified.

In the race for Crowley City Judge, Lyle O. Fogleman, Jr., Marie Elise “Melise” Trahan, and Kim Hayes have all qualified.

In the race for the City Judge of Rayne, James M. “Jim” Cunningham, III has qualified.

In the election for the City Marshal of Rayne, Alex “Joe” Lacroix has qualified.

In the race for Justice of the Peace, in Ward 2, Wayne Doucet and Timothy W. Ware have completed their qualification requirements.

The Justice of the Peace race for Ward 3 has Elton “Bee” Cormier has qualified.

In Ward 4, for the position of Justice of the Peace, Elridge Pousson has qualified.

In Ward 5, for the position of Justice of the Peace, Michael Chiasson has qualified.

Glenn J. Deville qualified for a run to remain Crowley City Marshal.

And in the race for Justice of the Peace for Ward 7, Horace Darbonne has qualified for the race.

Peggy S. Romero qualified for the office of Alderman in the Village of Morse.

In the race for Constable in Ward 2, James “June” Meche qualified.

In the race for Constable in Ward 3, Ferdie Miller qualified.

In the race for Constable in Ward 4, Paul Doucet qualified.

In the race for Constable in Ward 5, Treg Myers qualified.

In the race for Constable in Ward 7, Suzellen Strodered Lopez qualified.
