On Wednesday, December 31, Pine Prairie’s 2009 administration was sworn into office by 13th Judicial District Judge Tom Fuselier. Council members Tammy Hammond, Debbie Oge and Quint West were sworn in. Terry Savant was sworn in as mayor and Amanda Fuselier was sworn in as Justice of the Peace for Ward Four. Savant also presented outgoing police chief L.C. Deshotel with a plaque of appreciation for his many years of dedicated service to the Village of Pine Prairie.
