On October 22, agents served an arrest warrant on both Acaldo and Campbell. Acaldo was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on 14 counts of obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud in Bossier Parish. Campbell also was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on 13 counts of obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud in Bossier Parish.
At the time of the arrest Acaldo was employed by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, and was at work when he was arrested. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected in St. Landry Parish.
