The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for a woman who was reported missing Saturday night, July 24. As of Wednesday, July 28, the whereabouts of the woman are still a mystery.

According to Sheriff Doug Anderson, Mary C. Parrish left her home in the Gold Dust community south of Bunkie around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

She was reported missing by a family member after failing to report to work Saturday night.

Parrish is 53 years old, 5-feet, 5 inches, and weighs about 200 pounds. She has dark hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue jeans.

The car she was driving Saturday was a silver 2007 Saturn Vue with Louisiana license plate No. SFR784.
