Pine Prairie council approves LGAP grant application
A resolution was passed at this month’s meeting of the Pine Prairie Village Council to apply for funds through the state’s Local Government Assistance Program or LGAP.
A representative from J. Ronald Landreneau and Associates announced, “We do receive money from it every year so we can do miscellaneous work around the town.” He added, “We are prepared to apply, but we just need a resolution from the village to ask for an amount of dollars. The total amount of money for Evangeline Parish is $77,800 dollars. Some time in the late spring we will know if we were accepted.”
